The following piece is taken from the book I am currently writing ‘The Magnificent Angel: An unconventional exploration of faith’. As the title suggests it is an exploration of beliefs and faith from the unconventional, but revealingly familiar perspective of the metaphysical self. I am an intuitive, and much of what I write is channelled from the deep sources of wisdom that I believe are within us all. I think it is important for us to know ourselves, to understand the influences beneath our beliefs and how they affect the nature of our shared reality, and is the premise that my book is based upon. None of this is esoteric, in fact it is so mundane and ordinary that we have forgotten how magnificent we really are, and how much more there is to know about ourselves, barely hinted at by our current social and cultural belief systems. There is much more to life than meets the eye…
“With every question a set of possible answers is brought into being, bright and solid, and real.”
(Sidiris)
“The self does not divide but multiplies in incongruous ways, incongruous to you that is. It forms within its own nature a potential wealth of other personality types that indeed populate your conception of the world and form those friendly faces that you meet within your so-called day-to-day experience. Life is not intrinsic to the manifestation of these other selves, for life is a term that can only apply to the human construct. We as your caretakers so to speak are just beyond the remit of your understanding of time. We perch atop the fence of your awareness like crows bringing the warmth and wisdom of the dark to the brightness of your cave. We bring light to you in ways that you do not presently comprehend. We furnish your worlds with cherished thoughts and indeterminable wisdoms that cloud your skies and pepper the land with things to look at, admire and experience as extensions of your selves. Your personhoods expressed through nature and creature-hood, through blustering winds and swelling tides. The moods of the earth match your own national and individual moods. One does not follow on from the other but all swim happily in unison within the tide of memories that link you all. A body of memories that is as vital as any living organism, of which the you that you know forms an important strand.”
Beautiful composition.
That’s very kind of you rabirius, thank you 🙂
There is great, glowing beauty here and it dances on the edges of my comprehension. I must read it more than once, as the concepts are at once simple and complex.
“None of this is esoteric, in fact it is so mundane and ordinary that we have forgotten how magnificent we really are, and how much more there is to know about ourselves …”
That is how it resonates, as a simple truth that should be obvious, but which has become lost behind dogma and neotheologies.
“We perch atop the fence of your awareness like crows bringing the warmth and wisdom of the dark to the brightness of your cave. We bring light to you in ways that you do not presently comprehend. We furnish your worlds with cherished thoughts and indeterminable wisdoms that cloud your skies and pepper the land with things to look at, admire and experience as extensions of your selves.”
I begs the question, “Who is this We?” and I am encouraged to seek more. In some way, I see a companion story, one illustrative but not instructive, much along the lines of The Shack. I look forward to learning more about this, from your deep-channeled perspective. However, the Rastafarian concept of I and I and I (myself, my god, my brethren) spills to mind.
Thank you for your inspired comments Bill, and for your own deep and wise insights. From the years I have spent consciously channelling it has come to my attention that when shifting into deeper levels of awareness the information seems to come from more than one source, and is generally more inclusive. Often the feeling I get when I’m channelling these collective beings is that the room around me suddenly fills up with giants, all looking down at me with smiling faces, and the sense of love and nurturing that emanates from them is clearly tangible. It’s a wonderful experience, and one that I wish I had more frequently, as suddenly my understanding of my life and reality is fine-tuned, and I wonder how I could have been so ignorant of how simple things really are.
The ‘I’ is a product then of the narrowed focus that is necessary to perceive ourselves as we do within our physical bodies. The moment you relax that perspective then your awareness becomes all encompassing giving way to ‘we’. Divine awareness is multifaceted, literally.
This particular group entity that I channelled here call themselves ‘Sidiris’, and mark a shift in my own channelling abilities. They have been helping me write my book.
Sid and Iris? I know them – they’re the Goldbergs. Nice couple.
😉
Oh yeah, that’s it, mock the oracle! Well that’s the last straw… hang on, what was that?…
Oh… Sid and Iris say you are welcome to come over one evening for drinks, they think you’re a nice young man…
Who knew?
