I’ve been experiencing a few problems with WP lately with regards to commenting, it would seem that many of my comments are ending up in people’s spam folders which is causing no end of consternation on my part as it makes it difficult to engage on anyone’s threads and show my appreciation for all you brilliant bloggers out there. I don’t think it’s just me it’s been happening to, as I’ve found various legitimate comments floating around in my own spam folder.
So could I just ask everyone to double check their spam folders and liberate any bloggers who have accidentally got trapped there?

I have noted it too. Well i do check my spam folder regularly since i noticed it Ishaiyaa…. and i must say that u took the time to bring this to the notice of so many others who might have not noticed it … and that thought made me realize yet again that you are awesome…..

I just checked my spam folder… and there you were! Of all the people to have been relegated there; that annoys me.
Silly wordpress, I don’t know why it is I’m being spammed all of a sudden. It’s really irritating, but hopefully resolved with this little post.
I do check my spam folder before deleting. But you are right – lately, several of my comments end up in the spam folder of blogs that I follow. Sometimes, my comment comes through in one post but not in the second – on the same blog!

Thank you Eric for checking. I know I posted a comment on your latest Brother’s Grinn post, but nothing happened. Maybe it got usurped by some other glitch if it isn’t in your spam filter, or did you get it?
If not then I shall have to come visiting again and speak louder 😉

I certainly did not receive any comment from you – probably swallowed up by some hungry leprechaun working the nightshift in WordPress

I clear my spam folder daily, haven’t seen you there . . . unless you have a deal on Toshiba parts or a way to drive more Web traffic. In that case, I probably canned it 😉

it will spam any comment that has more than 2 tag lines of addresses…so if you have linked other sites with yours, it shows the other addresses and WP spams it automatically. just an fyi, to those of you who blog on more than one site, or attach email addresses and such… 🙂

I also check my spam folder daily because I work from my pending comments and will see if any spam are there and you haven’t landed there once. You must be a good girl then Ish. 😀 *hugs*

Yes, has happened here as well. Regular visitor and commenter ended in spam folder. Hope WP takes notice.
It’s a bit disheartening leaving comments at the moment as not everybody checks their spam folder it would seem. Yes hopefully WP will take notice, although it’s been happening for over a week now.
